About the race
The Hometown Spear It event is a themed fundraiser featuring a 1K and a 5K run/walk on October 24, 2026, at 126 Mulberry Street, Lebanon, OH 45036. The course passes through the cemetery and includes a Zombie Costume Contest with prizes for creative and theatrical zombie looks. Costumes are encouraged and zombie costumes are highly recommended.
All proceeds benefit the Lebanon High School Cross Country Team. Results will be posted at Finishtiming.com. There are no refunds for this event.
Registration information:
- Registration opens August 13, 2026 and closes September 25, 2026.
- Entry fee structure: $30 early bird on or before September 25, $40 after September 25, $45 same day.
- A race shirt is included; to guarantee a shirt, the order must be placed by October 8, 2026.
