Hometown Half Marathon & 5k/10k - San Antonio
The event takes place on 05/23/2026 at McAllister Park, Pavilion #5, 13102 Jones-Maltsberger Rd, San Antonio, TX. The program includes multiple distances and options for in-person and virtual participation.
Distances offered:
- Half Marathon - 13.1 Miles
- 10K - 6.2 Miles
- 5K - 3.1 Miles
- 1 Mile
- Kid's Dash for ages 10 and under
Race entries include a custom bib, designer shirt, and a finisher medal for most distances. The virtual option provides a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and packet shipping; virtual packets ship the Wednesday after the race. Chip timing with live results and awards is provided for timed events. Free race photos are available and there are treats at the finish line. Pacers are provided for the half marathon.
Additional options and notes: youth pricing for the 5K and 10K is $17 for participants 12 and under. The kid's dash is untimed, includes a youth-sized shirt and a specially crafted medal; children may run the dash without receiving swag at no charge. The Volunteer Then Run option asks volunteers to arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup and allows them to run afterward. The Running Buddy Half Marathon requires prior approval to participate.
