About the race
The Hometown Half Marathon/5K/10K in Denver is scheduled for May 9, 2027. The event offers in-person and virtual options and includes several family-oriented distances. - Kid's Dash : 50 meters, untimed, for ages 10 and under. - 1 Mile : untimed. - 5K : 3.1 miles. - 10K : 6.2 miles. - Half Marathon : 13.1 miles. - Virtual Run : run anywhere, any day. - Volunteer then Run : volunteer then run any distance. - Running Buddy Half Marathon : participation requires prior approval. Race entries commonly include a custom bib, a designer event shirt, and a finisher medal. Chip-timing with live results and awards is provided for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon.
Pacers are available for the half marathon. The Kid's Dash and the 1 Mile are untimed; the Kid's Dash registration includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a medal, and a child may run without receiving swag. The virtual option includes a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, packet shipping the week after the event, and the ability to upload times and photos starting the event day.
Volunteers should arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup when participating in the Volunteer then Run option. Youth pricing applies for the 5K and 10K for ages 12 and under.
