Homeland Hospice 5K and Memory Walk
The Homeland Hospice 5K and Memory Walk is an annual fundraising and remembrance event held on October 3, 2026 in Mechanicsburg. The event supports Homeland’s benevolent care programs for residents, clients, patients and families, and funds services such as massage, music therapy and additional in-home relief hours. It also helps residents of Homeland Center whose financial resources have been exhausted.
The event uses a start and finish at Rossmoyne Business Center, 5000 Ritter Road, and offers plenty of free parking. The course and event are stroller and wheelchair accessible. Professional timing is provided and race results will be posted after the event. Awards include cash prizes and ribbons for top finishers, age-bracket prizes, and additional recognitions such as largest team and oldest and youngest participants. Light refreshments are provided after the 5K and Memory Walk.
All participants must register. The fee is $25 for participants aged 13 and older; children 12 and under register free. To guarantee an event t-shirt, registrations must be received by Thursday, September 3; registrations after September 10 will receive shirts while supplies last. Participants may add a loved one’s name to the front of the event t-shirt with a $25 donation in support of benevolent care. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
