About the race

Runners return along Dunford Road with some undulating sections and a final 2 km descent into Hade Edge, finishing with a lap of the recreation ground. The route offers views over Winscar Reservoir and Thurlstone Moor.
Race headquarters is at Hade Edge Bandhall, HD9 2AQ. Race numbers are collected on the day and registration closes before the race; the Bandhall car park is for officials, with on-street parking in the surrounding area. Entry fees are listed as £17 for England Athletics members and £19 for non-members, with an additional £2 on the day. The organisers offer a purchase option for a technical t-shirt, and the race will make a donation to The Kirkwood hospice from the proceeds. Prizes are awarded to the first three men and women, category vets, and first men's and women's teams. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
