Eyam Fell Race takes place on 1 September 2026 in the village of Eyam. The event starts and finishes in Eyam and follows a traditional fell course across local moorland and woodland.
The route begins with a climb up to Sir William Hill, passes the Barrel Inn and crosses Abney Moor where runners pass a notable Peak District viewpoint. The course includes a fast descent through Abney Moor with a tight switchback, a return ascent through heather toward Sir William Hill, and a steep wooded section down into Eyam. The route is marshalled.

- 10 km fell race (main event)
- 3 km junior race for ages 11 to 16, on-the-day entry £2
The main race is for ages 17 and older on the day; competitors under 18 are expected to have fell running experience over similar distances. Entry for the main race is by preregistration only, with entries opening 26 August 2025 and closing 28 August 2026. The published entry fee for the main race is £8. Numbers are strictly limited and entries recorded at the time showed 35 participants.
Prizes are supplied in part by the Barrel Inn at Bretton. A BBQ and bar will be available in the courtyard after the race. The junior course includes a steep ascent with steps and a steep descent so shoes with good grip are advised. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
