Eyam Fell Race (1 September 2026)

The event is a fell race held in the village of Eyam, Derbyshire. The route starts and finishes in Eyam and includes a climb to Sir William Hill, a section past the Barrel Inn at Bretton, and a route across Abney Moor. The course returns via a steep wooded descent into the village. The event is marshalled and offers post-race catering with a BBQ and bar in the courtyard. Prizes are supplied in part by the Barrel Inn sponsors. Entry fee for the main race is £8. Entries are limited.

The main race has a minimum age of 17 on the day; entrants under 18 should have fell running experience over similar distances. The junior race is for ages 11 to 16 on the day and is entered on the day with a fee of £2 payable at the event, with no pre-entry. The junior course includes a steep ascent with steps, a level section and a steep descent; shoes with good grip are advised.
