Eyam Fell Race sponsored by The Barrel
The Eyam Fell Race takes place on 1 September 2026 in the village of Eyam. It is a 10 km fell race that starts and finishes in the village and uses open moorland, hill and wooded terrain around Sir William Hill and Abney Moor.
Course details include an initial climb out of Eyam up to Sir William Hill, a section past the Barrel Inn and a stretch over Abney Moor with a notable viewpoint of the Peak District. Runners descend through Abney Moor with a tight switchback, climb again through heather toward Sir William Hill and follow a steep wooded section back into Eyam. The route is marshalled in places.
