Hollywood Beach Half Marathon Winter
The event is a road running event held at Hollywood North Beach Park in Hollywood, Florida. It offers two distance options:
- Half marathon
- 5K
The course follows the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk along the Atlantic coast and provides beach and ocean views. The organizer lists a time limit of 3.5 hours for the event and reports water and Gatorade stations roughly every two miles or less.
Entry includes a finisher medal and the choice of a technical t-shirt or a cotton tank. Early packet pick up is available Friday, January 15 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Runner's Depot in Davie. Race day packet pick up is listed for the morning of the event. Shirt and tank availability may be limited by size and style.
Awards are given to the top five finishers in each age group. Age groups include 1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 and 75 plus. Course maps are provided for both the 5K and the half marathon.
Parking near the venue is limited to a little over 1,000 spaces. The event notes annual donations to local school groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
