Event overview
The Hollybank Eccup 10 & 5 Mile Races take place on 5 July 2026 in Adel, Leeds. The event is organised by Abbey Runners and supports The Hollybank Trust and The Hygiene Bank. Entry fees range from £15 to £29 depending on distance, affiliation and T-shirt option. The event has an entry limit of 1,000 places and, if not sold out, entry on the day is available for an extra £5.

Course, facilities and rules
The races are held on road and follow an undulating single-lap route. The 10 mile uses closed roads through country lanes around Eccup reservoir. The 5 mile follows a shortened version of the 10 mile route. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Race HQ is at Bedquilts Recreation Ground, Adel Lane, Leeds LS16 8BX, and parking is at the same location. Facilities include water stations, distance markers, toilets and a baggage store. There are no changing facilities or showers. Joining instructions are sent by e-mail and race numbers are collected at registration.
When places are sold or it is less than four weeks before race day, entry fees are non-refundable. Refunds may be requested earlier and are subject to a processing charge. Race place transfers are permitted free of charge up to 10 days before race day. Anyone found running in another person’s name will be disqualified and details passed to UK Athletics.
Prizes and records
Prizes are offered for overall and age-category positions in both races, plus team prizes for first three club members. There is a £100 prize for breaking either the men’s or ladies course record.
