Hollybank Eccup 10 and 5 Mile Races - Adel, Leeds
The Hollybank Eccup event offers road races of two distances around Eccup reservoir near Adel, Leeds. The races are organised by Abbey Runners in partnership with The Hollybank Trust and include fundraising for The Hygiene Bank. Entry fees range from £15 to £29 and a technical T-shirt is available for an additional £8.

The 10 mile route runs on closed roads through country lanes around Eccup reservoir. The 5 mile race follows a shortened version of the 10 mile route. The course is described as undulating and is run as a single lap. The event has an entry limit of 1000 places and details show 515 places remaining at the time of listing. The event holds an EA permit pending and is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Facilities at race HQ include water, distance markers, toilets and baggage storage. There are no changing facilities or showers. Parking is provided at Bedquilts Recreation Ground, Adel Lane LS16 8BX and race numbers are collected from race HQ at registration.
Prizes are provided for overall and age-category placings in both races, plus team prizes. A bonus of £100 is offered for breaking either the men's or women's course record.
