Hollybank Eccup 10 & 5 Mile Races : Adel, Leeds (5 July 2026)
The event offers two road race options that use country lanes around Eccup reservoir. The course for the 10 mile race runs on closed roads and the 5 mile race follows a shortened version of the same route. The course is described as undulating and is run as a single lap.
The organiser is Abbey Runners and the race headquarters is at Bedquilts Recreation Ground, Adel Lane, Leeds LS16 8BX. Parking is available at the race HQ. The event has an entry limit of 1000 places and an entry fee range shown as £15.00 to £29.00; an optional technical T-shirt is available for an additional £8. Entry terms note that refunds are not available within four weeks of race day, refunds before that are subject to a processing charge, and race place transfers are permitted free up to ten days before the race.
Prizes are offered for overall and age-category finishers in both the 10 mile and 5 mile races, plus team prizes for the first three scoring club members. There is also a £100 bonus for breaking either course record in the 10 mile race. Facilities at race HQ include water, distance markers, toilets and baggage storage; there are no changing rooms or showers. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs and holds an EA permit pending.
