Hollybank Eccup 10 & 5 Mile Races
The event offers a 10 mile and a 5 mile road race. The 10 mile course uses closed roads on a scenic route through country lanes around Eccup Reservoir. The 5 mile race follows a shortened version of the same route. The course profile is undulating.
The event is organized in collaboration with the charitable partner, The Hollybank Trust. A donation from the race proceeds will be made to The Hollybank Trust and to the organizer's nominated charity, The Hygiene Bank. Participants can make an additional donation when entering.
Participants can choose to purchase a technical t-shirt for an extra fee. The event has a prize structure. In the 10 mile race, there are overall, age category, and team prizes. A bonus of £100 is offered for breaking the existing men's or women's course record. Prizes are also available for winners in the 5 mile race.
Race numbers are collected from the race headquarters at registration on the day. The race headquarters and parking are at Bedquilts Recreation Ground on Adel Lane in Leeds.
Facilities include water stations, distance markers, toilets, and a baggage store. There are no changing facilities or showers. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
