The Meanwood Holly Hustle is a forest trail run scheduled for 15 November 2026. The event is based at the Meanwood Institute, 94 Green Rd, Meanwood, Leeds LS6 4LD. Entry is limited to 200 participants and the minimum age is 18. Standard entry price is listed as £18.
Course, facilities and requirements
The course is approximately 10.5 km (6.5 miles) with about 200 m (650 ft) of elevation. Terrain includes grass, rocky ground, muddy trails and footpaths, and the route passes through Meanwood Park, the Hollies and the Meanwood Valley Trail near the Seven Arches viaduct and Adel Crag. One short private road section is marshalled and runners will be advised to keep to the pavement where possible.
Facilities at Race HQ include toilets, bag storage and a water station. The event is cupless, so participants must bring their own water container. Organisers advise suitable footwear for likely muddy conditions, discourage headphones on narrow or technical sections, and recommend carrying a warm jacket or layer. All finishers will be offered complimentary soup. Optional paid extras may include medals, t-shirts and a "Trees not Tees" donation to fund tree planting.
