Meanwood Holly Hustle (15 November 2026)

The Meanwood Holly Hustle is a forest trail race starting and finishing at the Meanwood Institute, 94 Green Rd, Meanwood, Leeds LS6 4LD. The route uses trails in Meanwood Park, the Hollies and the Meanwood Valley Trail, passing the Seven Arches viaduct and Adel Crag. Terrain includes grass, rocky ground, muddy trails and footpaths. The course has about 200 m (650 ft) of elevation and contains narrow and technical sections; mud is likely at this time of year. There is one small private road section that will be marshalled and runners will be advised to stay on the pavement where possible. Headphones are not recommended.

Race details and practical information

The distance is 10.5 km / 6.5 miles. Entry is limited to 200 participants and the minimum age is 18. The listed entry price is £18. All finishers receive complimentary soup. Optional extras such as medals and T-shirts can be added to entries, and a "Trees not Tees" donation option is available to fund tree planting; extras are available only while stocks last. Facilities at Race HQ include toilets, bag storage and a water station. The event is cupless, so participants must bring a water container. A warm layer or jacket is recommended. The Meanwood Institute is just outside Meanwood Park, about a five-minute walk from Meanwood town centre where car parks and local parking are available; on-street parking is also present.
