Event information
The Holly Hustle is a trail race on 16 November 2025 in Meanwood, Leeds. Race HQ is The Meanwood Institute, 94 Green Rd, Meanwood, Leeds LS6 4LD. The distance is 10.5 km (about 6.5 miles) with approximately 200 m elevation. The course is undulating and not suitable for wheelchairs. The minimum age is 18. Entry fees run from £18.00 (affiliated) up to £37.00 for unaffiliated entries with medal and tee; entry on the day is available for an additional £2.00 where places remain. The event has an entry limit (listed as 200).
Course, safety and facilities
The route runs through Meanwood Park, The Hollies and the Meanwood Valley Trail, passing the Seven Arches viaduct and Adel Crag. The terrain includes grass, rocky ground, muddy trails and footpaths. The organisers note narrow and technical sections; headphones are not recommended. There is one small private road section that will be marshalled and runners are asked to stay on the pavement where possible. The course is likely to be muddy at this time of year and appropriate footwear is recommended.
Facilities at race HQ and on course include water refill stations, toilets and bag storage. The event is cupless so runners must bring a water container. There are no changing facilities or showers and no distance markers. Finishers are provided with complimentary soup. Optional extras include medals, t-shirts and a "Trees not Tees" donation option.
