Holloman Ace of Races Marathon

The Holloman Ace of Races is a running event at Domenici Fitness & Sports Center on Holloman Air Force Base in Alamogordo, New Mexico. It includes four events and is held on public grounds. The course runs on paved roads between the Sacramento Mountains and the gypsum dunes of White Sands National Park and passes several points of Air Force history.

The course is USATF certified and features low elevation gain, listed as 52 to 65 feet across the route. The finish area passes static aircraft and equipment on display; the final half mile closes with a left, right, left cadence. All race proceeds from registration are directed to the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation fund that benefits Holloman AFB airmen and their families.

Participant eligibility and limits are specified per event. The event offers race items and finisher recognition; specifics vary by distance and may be limited by availability. Awards for overall 1st through 3rd places are given for the Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K based on chip timing.
