Downhill Road Race in New Hampshire

The Hollis Fast 5K is a timed road race held in Hollis, New Hampshire. The event features a 5 km distance that follows a USATF certified course. This route is known for its elevation profile, dropping a total of 224 feet from the start to the finish line. Due to this gradual descent, the course is often used by participants aiming for a personal best time.

The course begins at the Hollis-Brookline Middle School. It crosses Main Street into Monument Square before heading south on Depot Road. Participants travel past local landscapes including apple orchards, corn fields, and vegetable farms. The race concludes at the Morin's Landscaping parking lot located at the junction of Depot Road and Route 111.

Awards are presented to the top male and female finishers across various age groups, as well as the top non-binary finisher. These awards are distributed at Alpine Grove following the conclusion of the event. In addition to individual categories, there is a non-timed team competition. A trophy is awarded to the group that registers the highest number of members, regardless of their finishing times. Participation is open to individuals between the ages of 1 and 100.
