About the race
Friends of Middies Athletics is hosting a 5K Turkey Trot on November 22, 2026, in Dracut, Massachusetts at 1580 Lakeview Ave. The event supports Dracut High School athletes and includes separate entry categories for adults (over 10) and youth (kindergarten through age 10), both racing the same 5K distance. Registration opens August 31, 2026 and closes November 21, 2026. Pre-registration fees are listed as $30 for adult entries and $20 for youth entries.
Race day registration is available at a higher fee, with adult and child pricing noted in the event information. The first 100 pre-registered participants are guaranteed a t-shirt. The course will be chip timed and official results will be posted online immediately after the race. Bib pick-up and race day registration take place at Englesby Elementary School.
Parking will be available in the school complex and restrooms will be open at the school. Awards are presented immediately following the race. Overall first, second, and third place male and female finishers will receive awards. Additional awards will be given to first-place finishers in the following age categories for male and female runners: Under 14, 15-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Participants who walk or use strollers are asked to start at the back of the pack as a courtesy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
