About the race
Friends of Middies Athletics organizes a community 5K event held in Dracut, Massachusetts, at 1580 Lakeview Ave. The event offers two registration categories: an adult category for participants over age 10 and a youth category for Kindergarten through age 10. Registration opens 08/31/2026 and closes 11/21/2026. Pre-registration fees listed are $30 for adults and $20 for youth.
The first 100 pre-registered participants are guaranteed a t shirt. Cash, check, and electronic payments are accepted; electronic payments incur a processing fee. Checks should be made payable to Friends of Middies Athletics. The course will be chip timed and results will be available online immediately after the race.
Pre race bib pick up is available at Arthur J. Beaudry Memorial Field concession stand, and race day bib pick up and registration are conducted at Englesby Elementary School. Parking is available in the school complex and Englesby Elementary School restrooms will be open for participants. Awards are presented immediately following the race.
Prizes include first, second, and third overall male and female finishers and first place awards in the following age categories for male and female: Under 14, 15-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 plus. Walkers and participants using strollers are asked to start toward the back of the field. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
