Event Overview
The HOLLA! ‘Our Giving Tree’ 5K is an annual fundraising event held in Morven, North Carolina. Now in its eleventh year, the event supports HOLLA!, a non-profit Community Development Corporation founded in 2005. The organization focuses on education, mentoring, and community resources, operating out of a modernized 1920s resource center that includes a media center and a commercial kitchen.

Participants can enter the race as individuals or as part of a team, with a minimum of ten members required for team registration. The course is open to both runners and walkers. The event takes place at 229 E. Main Street and proceeds regardless of weather conditions, as there is no designated rain date.
Cash prizes are awarded to the top three overall finishers, with additional prizes for the largest participating team. Age bracket medals are also provided for various categories. Every participant receives a souvenir gift as part of their entry. Registration includes admission to a literary festival held later the same day at the community center.
