Cheraw 24 Hour - Cheraw State Park
The Cheraw 24 Hour takes place on February 20, 2027 in Cheraw, SC. The event is organized by Mountaineer Rumble Events and is held at Cheraw State Park.
Runners circulate a loop called the Turkey Oak Trail-Outer Loop. The loop measures 4.3 miles and has about 190 feet of elevation gain. The trail surface is described as smooth and runs through stands of pine, turkey oak, blackjack oak, and hickory. Wildlife that may be encountered includes red cockaded woodpeckers, deer, and several species of birds.
The event runs for 24 hours and participants may complete as many loops as they choose during that period. There is an aid station and a drop bag area at the completion of each loop, providing access to race aid and personal gear without leaving the course. Typical ultra race snacks are available at the start and finish aid station. Food served during the event includes burgers, pizza, hot dogs, pasta, bacon, and pancakes.
Top three male and top three female finishers receive awards. Runners who complete 100 or more miles receive a custom 100-mile buckle. Cabins and campsites are available through Cheraw State Park.
