Event overview
The Holiday Tutu Trot at Krug Park in Saint Joseph, Missouri is an untimed fun walk/run held under the park holiday lights on December 20, 2025. The course follows the main roads of Holiday Park and is approximately 1.5 miles long. The event is capped at 500 registrants and functions in part as a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through a St. Jude Heroes campaign.
Logistics and participant details
This is a family-friendly, untimed event with no race bibs or timing chips. Line-up takes place at the park entrance, where hot chocolate is provided and participants receive a festive tutu. Santa will be present at the start line to collect children’s lists and photo opportunities are available. Hazels Coffee will be onsite selling additional holiday drinks. Cinnabon packs are available for purchase; proceeds support St. Jude and orders are collected at the event start/finish area. Participants receive a Cherry Mash candy, hot chocolate, a tutu, and a finisher medal. There are a limited number of reduced-cost entries that use a previous year’s medal instead of a newly ordered medal. Parking is available in the lower southwest side lot off Saint Joseph Avenue and on nearby streets; parking is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.
