Holiday Lights 5K
The Holiday Lights 5K is scheduled for November 21, 2026 in Canton, Georgia at Cherokee Veterans Park, 7345 Cumming Highway. The event features an in-person chip timed 5K, a virtual 5K option, and separate wheelchair sub-events for riders and assistants.
The course is entirely inside Veteran’s Park and is listed as a Peachtree Qualifier, USATF Course #GA20006DJ. The organizer describes the course as flat and notes that runners pass through the event holiday light display, including a large tunnel of lights on each lap, before finishing at the Buzz Center where Santa will be present.
Packet pick-up is offered the day before at Reformation Brewery in Canton and on race day at Cherokee Veterans Park. Off-site parking is provided at Revolution Church, 125 Union Hill Trail, with shuttle service to the park. Drivers showing a race bib can drive through the light display for free on the night of the event.
All finishers receive a participant medal. A race shirt is guaranteed in the correct size for registrations completed by November 8, 2026; afterwards shirts are available while supplies last. Organizers list a standard 5K entry fee of $30 plus taxes and fees and show wheelchair sub-event pricing that reflects $33.75. Timed teams of five or more receive a $5 per person discount beginning August 22, 2026. Proceeds support the charity Speed for Need. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
