8 Hours of Christmas Elimination Race
The event takes place on December 19, 2026 in Molena, GA at 506 Thundering Springs Rd. It is presented as a 50K Vertical Elimination Race built from repeated laps of a measured course.
Each lap is a 3.85 mile loop with about 950 feet of elevation gain. Runners must complete each loop and return to the start area within a 70 minute cutoff; failure to do so results in elimination. This elimination process continues for up to eight loops. On the final lap the fastest lap time determines the race winner.
After each successful lap every participant receives a prize. The first completed loop awards a Christmas ornament and the second completed loop awards a water bottle; prizes continue and increase in value through hour eight.
All race registrants receive a Revolution Running membership for 2027. Membership benefits listed include a pair of Revolution Running sweat pants available at packet pickup and a 20 percent discount for Revolution Running races in 2027; a discount code is sent with the event email confirmation.
The published entry fee is $82.18 USD. The stated refund policy allows a 100 percent refund up to three months before the race date; no refunds are offered after that point. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
