8 Hours of Christmas

The 8 Hours of Christmas is a 50K Vertical Elimination Race held in Molena, GA at 506 Thundering Springs Rd. The race is run as repeated four mile loops with about 1000 feet of elevation gain per loop.

Each participant has one hour to complete the loop and return to the starting area. Runners who do not finish the loop within the hour are eliminated. This cycle continues for eight hours. On the final four mile loop the fastest lap among remaining runners wins the race.

After each successful loop runners receive a prize. After the first loop every finisher receives a Christmas ornament and after the second loop a water bottle. Prizes increase in value through hour eight.

All registrants become Revolution Running members for 2027. Registered runners receive a pair of Revolution Running sweat pants at packet pickup and a 20% discount code for Revolution Running races in 2027 that is sent with the event confirmation.
