8 Hours of Christmas
The event in Molena, GA is a 50K vertical elimination race held at 506 Thundering Springs Rd. The format requires each participant to complete a single 4 mile loop that gains 1000 feet of elevation within one hour. Any runner who does not return to the starting area within the hour is eliminated from further laps.
The elimination rounds continue for a total of eight hours. On the final 4 mile loop the fastest lap among remaining runners determines the overall winner. After each successful loop every runner receives a prize. After the first loop each finisher receives a Christmas ornament and after the second loop each finisher receives a water bottle; awards for later loops increase in value as the day progresses.
All registrants receive a Revolution Running membership for 2027. Membership benefits include a pair of Revolution Running sweat pants at packet pickup and a 20% discount for Revolution Running races in 2027. A discount code is sent with the race confirmation email.
