8 Hours of Christmas Elimination Race
The event in Molena, GA is presented as a 50K Vertical Elimination Race held on a looped course at 506 Thundering Springs Rd. Each loop measures 3.85 miles and includes approximately 950 feet of elevation gain. Runners have 70 minutes to complete each loop; any participant who does not return to the start area within that 70 minute window is eliminated.
The format continues for up to eight loops. On the final loop the fastest lap determines the winner. After each successful lap participants receive a prize, with specific examples including a Christmas ornament after the first loop and a water bottle after the second; awards are reported to increase in value through hour eight.
All registrants receive a Revolution Running membership for 2027. Membership benefits include a pair of Revolution Running sweat pants available at packet pickup and a 20 percent discount on all Revolution Running races in 2027; a discount code is sent with the race email confirmation.
The organizer’s refund policy offers a full refund up to three months before the event date. After that point refunds are not available. Registration closes Wed, Dec 16 at 11:59 PM ET. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
