The Holiday Half takes place on December 13, 2026 at the Daimler Trucks North America campus on Swan Island in Portland. The event offers multiple distances and a virtual option so participants can choose a suitable format.

Courses pass notable local sites and include on-course entertainment. Routes feature views of Downtown Portland, the University of Portland campus, the St. Johns Bridge, Pier Park, the Willamette River, and the Fremont Bridge. The half and the 10K include a noticeable hill in the first mile. The 5K is described as completely flat and takes place mainly on asphalt and pavement with about two miles along the Willamette waterfront path.
Support and amenities are provided for all distances. Finishers receive themed medals and registrants before the shirt deadline receive long sleeve tech shirts. The event uses professional chip timing and supplies water stations and on-course nutrition. Cookie aid stations and caroling are placed along the courses. A post-race area at the finish offers a beer garden, food trucks, hot chocolate, DJ music, photo stations, vendors, costume contests, awards, and raffle prizes.
Logistics include multiple parking lots on Swan Island, nearby public transit access, bike racks, and a bag check. Strollers are permitted; dogs are not allowed. The organizer enforces a no in-ear headphone policy for safety. No refunds or deferrals are permitted, though transfers to another participant or to the virtual race or a different distance are available.
