Holiday Half - Portland
The Holiday Half is a multi-distance run on December 13, 2026 that starts and finishes at the Daimler Trucks North America campus on Swan Island in Portland. Courses pass views of Downtown Portland, the University of Portland campus, the St. Johns Bridge, Pier Park, the Willamette River, and the Fremont Bridge.
Race offerings include:
- Half marathon
- 15K
- 10K
- 5K
- Virtual option with race window and swag pickup
On-course features include carolers and holiday music stations, gingerbread cookie aid stations provided by a local bakery, and multiple water and electrolyte stations. The half and 10K routes include a hill within the first mile; the 5K course is completely flat and takes place mostly on paved waterfront paths. All finishers receive a Freddi the Yeti themed medal; registrants before the shirt deadline receive long-sleeve tech shirts.
Event facilities on Swan Island include multiple race waves, tents, heaters, parking lots, bike racks, and nearby public transit access. The finish area offers a post-race party with a DJ, photo opportunities, vendors, food trucks, complimentary hot chocolate, and a complimentary brew from Crux Brewery. There are age group awards, raffle and random door prizes, and individual and team costume contests.
