Holiday 5k Beer Run x Vacancy Brewing
The Holiday 5k Beer Run takes place at Vacancy Brewing in Austin, TX on December 5, 2026. The event is organized by the Texas Brewery Running Series and features a mapped, untimed fun run of roughly 5k that starts and ends at the brewery and weaves through the Yard area.
The course is open to the public and roads will not be closed; participants are responsible for obeying traffic laws. Routes are marked with arrows. The event is rain or shine. Dogs and strollers are allowed on the course with care and caution. There will not be a bag check.
All ages are welcome. Participants who are 21 or older with valid ID receive a free craft brew from Vacancy; registered underage participants receive a token for a non-alcoholic beverage. Additional participant items include a choice of a collector’s pint glass or a seasonal Brewery Running Series swag item, opportunities to win door prizes, and access to live music, games, goodies and giveaways.
A portion of event proceeds supports local nonprofits; ten percent of proceeds go directly to local organizations such as Austin Parks Foundation. Registration is limited to the size of the taproom and events may sell out. Ticket pricing ranges from free to USD 65.74 and refunds are available up to five days before the event.
