About the race
The ATW Holdenby House Trail & Canicross event takes place on the historic 2,000-acre Holdenby Estate in Northamptonshire, featuring a scenic 5.4 km traffic-free trail through estate grounds and surrounding farmland. Participants can choose from 5k, 10k, or half marathon distances, with laps corresponding to each distance. A special 5k Canicross race allows runners to compete alongside their dogs, which must wear appropriate running harnesses.
The course finishes through iconic estate arches, offering picturesque views of the 16th-century house. All finishers receive custom medals and goodies. The event supports Alzheimer's Research UK, encouraging fundraising alongside fitness.
