Hodder Valley Fell Race

The Hodder Valley Show race is Bowland Fell Runners’ fell race run as part of the Hodder Valley Show. In 2025 the event takes place at Dunsop Bridge, with the Hodder Valley Show rotating venues across three sites. The course is about 8.7 km with 472 m of ascent, offering a testing climb and swift descents through the Bowland countryside.

Entry is £13.50 in advance (including show entry) or £15 on the day, and there are junior races for U13, U15 and U17 depending on numbers. The event blends competition with a village-show atmosphere, overseen by a dedicated organiser. Results and photos are published online.
