This event welcomes a variety of participants including competitive runners, casual walkers, and those with strollers. All proceeds from the event support Goodwill programs that assist individuals with barriers to self-sufficiency.
Participants are encouraged to wear themed clothing for a costume contest, with prizes available for adults, children, and dogs. The event features a post-race party with food, music from the 1960s, and vintage Volkswagen vehicles on display.
Participants can choose from several distances and categories:
- 10K Run
- 5K Run
- Keep on Truckin' Challenge (10K and 5K combined)
- 1 Mile Walk, Woof, & Roll (Walkers and dogs)
- Flower Child Fun Run (100 yards for children under 10)
- Virtual 5K (Run from home option)
The Keep on Truckin' Challenge requires participants to complete both the 10K and 5K distances while maintaining a minimum pace of 14:00 minutes per mile.
