Hilton Head Freedom 5K
The Hilton Head Freedom 5K is a Memorial Day 5K Run/Walk held at Port Royal Plantation on Hilton Head Island, SC. Proceeds from the event benefit Semper Fi & America's Fund to support veterans and their families.
Participants receive a commemorative tech shirt and a special finishers award. The event program includes awards for Best Patriotic Dressed in individual and family categories, and medals for the top three finishers in each age group: 12U, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
The event offers specific pricing for active and retired military and a youth category for kids under 10. Packet pick-up is scheduled for Sunday, May 24 at Palmetto Running Company in the Shelter Cove Towne Centre.
