Hills to Henley
Hills to Henley uses sealed off-road trails through Linear Park following the River Torrens / Karrawirra Parri from Athelstone toward Bonython Park. The event offers multiple measured distance options along the riverside trail system.
Available distances:
- 30 km – Athelstone Primary School to Bonython Park
- 21.1 km – Athelstone Primary School to Bonython Park
- 10 km – Out and back from Bonython Park, Adelaide
- 5 km – Out and back from Bonython Park, Adelaide
For 2026 the finish will be in the city because the Torrens to Darlington Project closes the Linear Trail under South Road; the course is adjusted so distances remain accurate. Pre-start bus transport is provided from Bonython Park to the 21.1 km and 30 km starts; buses are contracted and arrival times are indicative.
Event services include a finisher medal, electronic timing and certificate, optional finish line result SMS, drink stations, first aid, finish line and post event experience, overall trophies and age category awards, and free event photographs after the race. Prize money is offered to eligible SARRC members for top placing SARRC runners. Entry fees vary by distance and entry date; SARRC members receive a 20 percent discount on general fees and eligible youth entries receive a 10 percent discount.
