Event Overview
The 2026 Hill to Harbor 5K & 10K Road Race is a community sports event held in Marblehead, Massachusetts. Starting and finishing at the Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA, the course leads participants through the area's hills and along the shoreline. The event serves as a fundraiser to support YMCA programming, including financial assistance and scholarships for local families and individuals.

Course and Logistics
The race route is open to a variety of participants and is noted as being stroller and dog friendly, provided dogs are well-behaved. Free on-site parking is available at the Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA for all attendees. Participants can collect their race materials, including bibs and shirts, during a pre-race pick-up on Friday or on the morning of the event. Unisex crew neck tee shirts are provided to participants on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Timing and Recognition
Professional timing services are provided for the race, and results are posted at the finish line as well as sent via email after the event. Medals are awarded to the first-place male and female overall finishers. Additionally, the top three male and female finishers in various age groups, ranging from 13 and under to 70 and over, receive medals. Recognition is also given to the top three non-binary and wheelchair finishers, along with special prizes for the first-place male and female runners who are residents of Marblehead.
