24th Highway One Companies 5k
The 24th Highway One Companies 5k takes place on May 25, 2026 in Dewey Beach, Delaware at Rusty Rudder, 113 Dickinson Street. The event is part number one of the Ten Sisters of Dewey Beach road race series.

- 5K run/walk registration
- Competitive walking 5K for walkers only, no running or jogging
Parking is limited at the Rusty Rudder lot for a fee; free parking is available at meters and side streets until 10 am. Participants are asked not to move or raise the gates on the event parking lots.
Amenities include gender specific technical shirts, giveaway items, and a post race party with food and beer for those 21 and over. Additional post race party tickets are available for purchase.
Awards include top overall male and female and overall masters scored by gun time, with all other age groups scored by chip net time. Prizes include gift cards for overall winners and awards for the top three in five year age groups from 9 and under through 80 and over, top three walkers, most patriotic runners and walkers, and a series award for the largest beach house team with pre registration only.
Timing is provided by R2R Timing using the MYLAPS BibTag system. Results will be posted online during and after the event. Course information and a map are provided. No dogs are allowed due to insurance liability. Bibs are non transferable and registrations are non refundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
