Highclere Castle 10K
The Highclere Castle 10K is a mixed terrain road race held on Sunday 27 September 2026 across the grounds of Highclere Castle, located on the Berkshire / North Hampshire border. The course uses a mixture of tarmac, track and field, with one short section of open public road.
The event supports local causes and community sport, with proceeds helping Thames Valley Air Ambulance and Newbury Athletic Club. Sponsorship for the event is provided by Solo60, Bodyset and The Running Algorithm. The race is held with the permission of the castle estate owners.
A junior fun run is available for children aged 5 to 14. Every finisher receives a technical long sleeve race top. Prizes are awarded to overall winners, veteran categories and the first male and female teams.
Event operations note that dogs and drones are not permitted, and spectators must remain either in the start/finish area or in the car park field. Organisers state that the future of the event depends on adherence to these rules. All runner information is sent by email and race numbers are collected on the day.
