High Weald Challenge
The High Weald Challenge is a scenic walking event held at Stonegate Village Hall in East Sussex, featuring three new routes of 30, 22, and 16 miles. Participants explore the picturesque countryside around Burwash and Robertsbridge, with all routes passing through Robertsbridge village. The 30-mile course extends to Bodiam and its famous castle before returning.
The event offers indoor checkpoints with refreshments, including tea, coffee, snacks, and hot food at the finish. Conveniently located near Stonegate train station, the challenge encourages suitable footwear and navigation tools. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome, and finishers receive certificates.
