Event overview
The End of Year 10 Miler is a road race held on 28th December 2025. The advertised distance is 10 miles. Online entries close at 8 pm on the preceding Thursday; on-the-day entries are accepted for £30 (cash only). The published entry fee is shown as £25/£27. Numbers and timing chips are not posted and must be collected at registration. Parking is available at Staplehurst Train Station.
Course and facilities
The route runs mainly on quiet roads around Staplehurst in the Kent countryside. The course is described as predominately flat with a large hill at about 6 miles and a downhill section for the final 3 miles. Race HQ is Staplehurst Village Centre, High Street, Staplehurst, Kent TN12 0BJ.
Marshalling and signage are provided. Bag storage, refreshments and toilets are available at the HQ. Medals and trophies are awarded for Male and Female 1st, 2nd and 3rd, age groups and the top team. In-ear and over-the-ear headphones are not permitted; bone conduction headphones are allowed. Event records listed are Male 00:53:00 and Female 01:04:49.
