High Tor Trail Marathon
The High Tor Trail Marathon is a trail running event in Naples, NY that begins and ends at Naples Community Park. The course briefly follows gentle terrain before entering the High-Tor Wildlife Management Area and then passes through downtown Naples and Main Street.
Runners re-enter High Tor at the Digger aid station (Aid 1) and follow the Finger Lakes Trail for a long climb and descent to the Bassett Road aid station (Aid 2). From Aid 2 the route includes a second significant climb up toward the Brink Road aid station (Aid 3), followed by downhill sections back to the finish. The event offers generous aid stations and is organized by the local community, with provisions for runners and spectating families.
The event is offered as a single half marathon loop with an option to complete a marathon distance by running two loops. Registration closes on Thu, Jul 9 at 5:00 PM ET.
