High Peak 40
The High Peak 40 is a 40-mile ultramarathon held in the Peak District, starting and finishing in the picturesque town of Buxton. After an eight-year hiatus, the event returned in 2024 and is scheduled again for 2025. The challenging course features a mix of trails, paths, and roads, passing through scenic landmarks such as Goyt Valley, Eccles Pike, Mam Tor, Cave Dale, Tideswell, Monsal Trail, and two Deep Dales.
