High Lodge Half Marathon - Spring
The High Lodge Half Marathon - Spring is a circular trail event held on Sunday 4th April 2027 in Thetford Forest. The route uses a mix of hard-packed sand, grassy footpaths and forest trails through areas where wildlife such as fallow deer and wild thyme can be seen. The course is traffic free and multi-terrain, so appropriate grippy footwear is recommended.
The race is a cupless event. Fresh drinking water is available at points on the course for competitors to refill their own bottles but no single-use cups are provided. Timing is manual and professional photography covers the event. Podium trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers. An optional eco friendly finisher medal is offered.
Entry and eligibility details include a minimum age of 17 years and a 3.5 hour cut-off for the half marathon distance. A £2 fee applies to runners not attached to a club to comply with UK Athletics rules. Race numbers are issued on the day and are not posted in advance.
