Event Details
The High Hope Endurance Run takes place over Memorial Day weekend at the High Hope Ranch and Retreat Center in Glen Rose, Texas. It is described as part of "The Mammoth Race movement." The event is set on a 1,000-acre ranch in the Texas Hill Country, featuring terrain with limestone breaks, biodynamic soil, and cedar-scented air.
Distances and Schedule
Multiple trail running distances are offered across two days:
- 200K Endurance Run - Offered only on Friday.
- 100K Endurance Run
- 50K Endurance Run
- 25K Endurance Run
- 10K Trail Run
- 5K Trail Run The 5K, 10K, 25K, 50K, and 100K events are offered on both Saturday and Sunday. Pacer registration is available for the 100K and 200K distances.
Event Features
The event emphasizes a community-focused atmosphere. Aid stations are referred to as an "oasis" staffed by volunteers called the "Mighty Herd." The event is cupless and encourages participants to leave minimal impact on the land.
Free camping and boondocking (no-hook ups) is available at the ranch. The event provides free entrance and parking for participants.
Participant Perks
All participants receive an official event T-shirt, a finisher medal, and two free tacos with a beverage. Finishers of the 100K and 200K distances also receive an ultra buckle. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
