Hickory Flatout 5K

The Hickory Flatout 5K is an annual road race held on Labor Day in Canton, Georgia, with the start and finish at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Proceeds from the event support Hide and Seek Day Camp. The main event is a chip timed 5K on a USATF certified course; the route is mostly flat with a few rolling hills and follows an out-and-back alignment from the church.

The event also includes a children's Fun Run that features obstacle elements inspired by the Hide and Seek Day Camp program. A Phantom Runner option allows non-participants to support the event and still receive a race day T-shirt. Wheelchair entries are organized with separate roles for the person pushing and the person riding.

Awards are presented for overall male and female, grandmasters male and female, and top three male and female finishers in standard age-group categories from 10 and under through 70 and over. Early bib pick-up is offered on the Sunday before the race at Mt. Zion Baptist Church; parking is available in the lot behind the church.

Seek Ministries Inc is listed among the fundraising organizations and Corrective Chiropractic is named as a sponsor. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
