Hickory Flatout 5K
The Hickory Flat Out 5K is an annual road race held on Labor Day that starts and finishes at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Canton, GA. The 5K is chip timed and the course is USATF certified. The route is mostly flat with a few rolling hills and follows an out and back line from the church.
Proceeds from the event support Hide and Seek Day Camp, organized by Seek Ministries Inc. The event includes a kid's Fun Run with obstacle elements inspired by the camp. There is also a Phantom Runner registration option for supporters who will receive a race day tee.

Early bib pick-up is scheduled the day before the race at Mt. Zion Baptist Church parking lot behind the church. Awards are presented to overall male and female, grandmasters male and female, and the top three male and female in multiple age groups from 10 and under through 70 and over.
