Event Overview

The Hibiscus Half Marathon, 15K, and 5 Miler is a family-friendly event held on Memorial Day weekend. The 18th edition of this race starts and finishes at Kapiolani Park at the Diamond Head end of Waikiki in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The event offers three in-person distances:

15K
5 Miler

Virtual participation options are also available for the Half Marathon (or 15K) and the 5 Miler.

Race Information

All races take place on May 24, 2026, with staggered start times. The finish line closes at 9:30 AM. A chip timing service is provided by Pacific Sport Events. For participants who walk a 17-minute mile or slower, the organizers recommend choosing the 15K distance for safety and to receive an official time.

Registration & Awards

T-shirt size is guaranteed for registrations completed by May 10. Awards are given to the top three males and females in 16 divisions for the Half Marathon, and to the top three males and females for both the 15K and 5 Miler.
