About the race
The 19th annual Hibiscus Half Marathon, 15K and 5 Miler takes place on May 30, 2027, at Kapiolani Park near the Diamond Head end of Waikiki. The event is open to runners and walkers and offers multiple distance options.

The 15K and 5 Miler are optional alternatives and are recommended for participants who walk at a 17 minute per mile pace or slower to help ensure safety and an official time. Packet pickup is held the two days before the race at the ʻAlohilani Resort, Waikiki Beach, 2490 Kalakaua Ave, with specified pickup hours on Friday and Saturday. Parking at the resort is limited and not free; parking near the zoo and Kapiolani Park is a short walk to the hotel.
Race services include chip timing by Pacific Sport Events. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in specified divisions: 16 divisions for the half marathon and eight divisions for the 15K and 5 Miler. T shirt sizes are guaranteed for participants who register by May 15 and pick up at packet pickup; leftover shirts may be available later. Limited race morning packet pickups are available for a fee with prior permission. Approximately 100 volunteers are needed and volunteers receive an event shirt.
