About the race
The Hibiscus event in Honolulu is a road race held around Kapiolani Park at the Diamond Head end of Waikiki. It is presented as the 19th annual running and offers three distance options.
The event includes:
- Half Marathon
- 15K
- 5 Miler
Chip timing is provided by Pacific Sport Events. Awards are given to the top three men and top three women across 16 divisions in the Half Marathon, and to the top five men and top five women in the 15K and 5 Miler. The organizer is Tropical Triple Crown.
Packet pickup and a race expo take place at the Alohilani Resort Hotel, Bluefin Room on the Friday and Saturday before the race. A T-shirt size is guaranteed for entrants who register by May 10; sizes are not guaranteed for later entries. The course starts and finishes at Kapiolani Park.
