Hibiscus Half Marathon
The Hibiscus Half Marathon is scheduled for May 30, 2027. The event includes three distances:
- Half Marathon
- 15K
- 5 Miler
The course starts and finishes at Kapiolani Park at the Diamond Head end of Waikiki. The race uses chip timing provided by Pacific Sport Events. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in age divisions: the Half Marathon has 16 divisions and the 15K and 5 Miler each have eight divisions.
Packet pickup takes place at the ‘Alohilani Resort, Waikiki Beach, 2490 Kalakaua Ave, Honolulu, HI 96815 on the two days before the race. There is limited parking at the hotel; parking at the zoo/Kapiolani Park is a short walk from the hotel. T-shirt size is guaranteed for participants who register by May 15 and pick up their shirt at packet pickup; leftover shirts may be offered to late registrants. Limited race morning packet pickups are available for a fee with prior permission.
Approximately 100 volunteers are needed during race week and on race day. Volunteers receive a No Mean People shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
