Hibiscus Half Marathon, 15K, and 5 Miler
The Hibiscus Half Marathon is an annual running event held during Memorial Day weekend in Honolulu, Hawaii. The 2026 edition marks the 18th year of the competition, which is organized by the Tropical Triple Crown. All races take place at Kapiolani Park, located at the Diamond Head end of Waikiki.
Participants can choose from several distance options:
- Half Marathon
- 15K
- 5 Miler (and a little bit)
- Virtual Half Marathon
- Virtual 15K
- Virtual 5 Miler
The course utilizes chip timing provided by Pacific Sport Events. For the safety of participants and to ensure an official time before the finish line closes, the organizers recommend the 15K course for those with a pace of 17 minutes per mile or slower.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers across 16 divisions in the Half Marathon. The 15K and 5 Miler also recognize the top three male and female finishers. Participants who register by May 10 are guaranteed their preferred shirt size. Packet pickup and a race expo are held at the Alohilani Resort Hotel in the Bluefin Room on the Friday and Saturday preceding the event.
