HGF 5K Run & Walk for Kids' Growth - Atlanta
The Human Growth Foundation holds this community run and walk in collaboration with the Department of Endocrinology at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to raise funds and awareness for children with rare growth disorders. The event is based in Piedmont Park, Atlanta, with a certified 5K course that follows paved, scenic routes and is officially timed.

The program includes family-focused features such as a Kids’ Fun Run, a health and resource fair hosted by Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, display booths, giveaways, raffle prizes, music, and post-race refreshments. Awards are presented to the fastest male and female in each age category, including 10 years and under, youth, adult men, and adult women. Volunteer high school and college teams receive community service credit.
Most registered participants receive a finisher medal, an event T-shirt, and food and refreshments. Race T-shirts are only guaranteed to participants registered by March 8, 2024. The course is wheelchair and stroller accessible, and leashed dogs are welcome.
Organizers state they will follow current public-health guidance and provide accessible course options.
