About the race
The Hero’s Bridge Prince William Turkey Trot is a community race event held in Manassas on November 26, 2026 at the Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center, 9100 Freedom Center Blvd. Fun Run Racing is partnering with Hero’s Bridge and a portion of race proceeds benefit that organization, which serves elderly veterans of World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War through age-specific programs.
Distances offered include:
- 5K road race with a 60 minute course time limit
- 1 Mile Run/Walk not timed
All participants receive a race shirt, medal, bib, and a digital finisher’s certificate. The event provides one water station at the 1.5 mile mark and additional small water bottles at the finish. Strollers are allowed; dogs are not allowed for safety reasons. Timed pacers are available for 20:00, 25:00, and 30:00 target times.
Awards are distributed at race headquarters near the start and finish. The top three overall men and women receive Running Store gift cards of $75, $50, and $25. The top three male and female 5K finishers in each age group receive gift cards of $15, $10, and $5 across standard age divisions.
Registration opens September 10. Fee tiers apply by date with progressively higher rates through late November. Packet pickup takes place at the Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center the day before the race. Course maps and event photos are provided by the organizer.
