Heroes Run & Walk 11K

Set in Virginia Beach, Virginia, the 9.11K Heroes Run & Walk invites participants to honor firefighters, police officers, first responders, and military service members by running the full length of the Virginia Beach boardwalk. The race covers 9.11K and offers a cool fall day atmosphere as a remembrance of 9/11. The course progresses along the iconic boardwalk starting near 2405 Atlantic Avenue.

All profits benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, with the campaign highlighting the motto “WHILE WE HAVE TIME, LET US DO GOOD.” Participants and spectators alike join a broader 2025 campaign supporting veterans and emergency responders.
