Event Details
The Heroes On The Water 5K Run/Walk is the 7th annual event. It takes place at Riverbend Park in Jupiter, Florida.
The Course
The course goes through Riverbend Park on a flat, hard-packed surface. There is one water station on the route, which participants pass twice. The event will have course marshals and on-site medics.
Timing and Results
The race uses RFID chip timing by Southern Timing, LLC. Live results and preliminary results kiosks are available. A start and finish line video captures a 20-second clip of each participant.
Participant Benefits
Registration includes a performance race shirt, a custom finisher medal, a swag bag, and post-race food. An upgrade to a long-sleeve shirt is available for an additional fee. Discounted registration is offered for children 17 and under, as well as for first responders and active-duty or retired military members.
Awards
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers. Awards are also given to the top three male and female participants in nine age groups, from 10 & under to 80+.
Beneficiary
Proceeds benefit the Treasure Coast Heroes On The Water Chapter. Heroes On The Water is a veterans' charity that provides therapeutic programs for veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and their families.
