This fundraising run takes place on April 17, 2027 at the Maryville Greenbelt Amphitheater, 201 W Lamar Alexander Parkway, Maryville, TN. Proceeds benefit New Hope Children’s Advocacy Center and support child abuse prevention efforts in Blount County.
Distances and options include:
- 5K : adult and child (10 and under)
- 1K fun run : children 10 and under, two laps around the Amphitheater park
- Virtual 5K : all ages, run anywhere
- Sponsor a child’s entry : funds an Elementary Run Club child’s participation
The virtual 5K may be run anywhere and results must be submitted by 11:59pm on race day. Packet pick-up is scheduled for April 16 from 3:00 to 6:00pm at the Maryville Greenbelt Pavilion next to the Amphitheater. Participants who select a t-shirt option by April 2 will have the shirt available at packet pick-up and at race check-in; registrations after April 2 are not guaranteed a t-shirt.
The certified 5K course carries USATF certification number TN20003MS. Chip timing will be used and a staggered start is planned because parts of the course are narrow. Winners in each age group will be announced and awarded after the 5K.
