6th Annual Hero Dogs 5K9
The Hero Dogs 5K9 is an annual athletic event held in Washington, DC. For its sixth edition, the event takes place at the Congressional Cemetery. This location serves as the venue for both the start and finish of the races, as well as the site for packet pickup.
Participants can choose from two different distances:
- 5 km Memorial Run
- 1 km Fun Run
Every participant who completes their chosen distance receives a medal at the finish line. Registration includes an early bird period that ends in late March, followed by a regular registration phase. While registration remains open through the day of the event, a t-shirt is only guaranteed for those who complete their registration by April 24th.
Participants have the option to pick up their packets at the Congressional Cemetery before the race begins. Alternatively, packets can be mailed for an additional shipping fee. Any t-shirts that are not collected at the event site will not be sent by mail afterwards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
