Herefordshire Duathlon 2026
The Herefordshire Duathlon takes place at Leominster Leisure Centre and is organised by Hereford Triathlon Club as part of the HTC Multi-sport Festival. The event is run with guidance from British Triathlon and with permission from Herefordshire Council, West Mercia Police, Halo Leisure and Earl Mortimer College.
Athletes start in waves of five. The event uses chip timing, marshals, and a clearly marked route through the Herefordshire countryside. A list of start times will be published in the days before the event.
The race format and distances are:
- Run: 3 mile town loop around Leominster including some historic sites
- Bike: 11 to 12 mile undulating but fast course headed toward Bromyard
- Run: repeat of the town loop to finish
Entries close on May 30, 2026 and there are no entries on the day. Early entry is priced at £30 until February 28, 2026, then £33 until May 30, 2026. A British Triathlon Race Pass is required for participants who are not British Triathlon Home Nation members; pass costs are specified by the organiser for different age groups. Transfers can be arranged by contacting the organiser before May 30, 2026. Refunds for cancellations due to pandemic or extreme weather may be partial; the organiser notes that full refunds cannot always be guaranteed. Total places are capped at 50.
