Herefordshire Aquathlon 2026
Herefordshire Aquathlon is organised by members of Hereford Triathlon Club and takes place at Leominster Leisure Centre as part of the HTC Multi-sport Festival. The event is described as Winner - West Midlands Small Event of the Year 2022 and will be run under the guidance of British Triathlon with permission from Herefordshire Council, West Mercia Police, Halo Leisure and Earl Mortimer College.
Racing is in small waves of six athletes, with start order arranged by each competitor's estimated swim time. The event features chip timing, a well marked route, marshals and vocal support from the course. The course combines a pool swim and a town run with the following distances:
- 400 m swim (16 lengths)
- 3 mile town loop run finishing at the school and passing Leominster historic sites
Entries are limited to a total of 50 places and close on 30 May 2026. There are no entries on the day. Entry fees listed for the event are £30 until 28 February 2026 and £33 until 30 May 2026. A British Triathlon Race Pass is required for participants who are not a British Triathlon Home Nation member; Race Pass costs are £2.00 plus £0.08 service charge for those aged 24 and under, and £8.00 plus £0.32 service charge otherwise.
Refunds and transfers are subject to the organiser's policy. Refunds may be limited in cases such as pandemic or extreme weather; transfers can be arranged by the organiser up to 30 May 2026.
