Logistics and extras
Race kits include a choice of a fascinator and purse or a top hat, a finisher medal, and royal treats. The 1K entry requires a donation to the RHLI Cadets as part of registration. If the in-person event cannot proceed, it will be switched to a virtual race and no refunds will be issued; race kits will still be distributed. Race kit pickup is scheduled at locations in Burlington, Stoney Creek, and at HMCS Star on race day. A 30-minute tour of HMCS Haida is available for preregistered participants for a separate fee; minors must be accompanied and bridge access uses ladders. Parking is limited due to construction and several nearby lots are suggested. Results timing is provided by Speed River Timing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
