Her Majesty's Royal Races 2026 is set for Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the HMCS Haida National Historic Site, Catharine Street North, Hamilton, ON. The event offers both in-person and virtual options with race distances of:

The 3K and 5K are chipped timed and results are available from SpeedRiverTiming.com. The 1K is not chip timed; its registration includes a finisher medal and requires a donation to the RHLI Cadets as part of entry.
Race details and logistics
Registration fees listed in the event information include: in-person Royal 5KM and 3KM at $78.50, in-person Royal 1KM at $7.69 (plus a $25 donation to the RHLI Cadets included), and virtual 3KM and 5KM at $56.71. A $10 discount is available for youths (16 and under) and seniors (65+). Race kits include a choice of a fascinator and purse or a top hat, a finisher medal, and royal treats; virtual entries receive a medal and kit shipment is extra.
The event raises funds for the Army Cadet League supporting the RHLI Cadets - 62 RHLI RCACC and will collect non-perishable food for Hamilton Food Share. An optional guided tour of HMCS Haida is available to registrants for a separate fee; children must be accompanied and bridge access uses ladders which may limit accessibility.
