Her Majesty's Royal Races 2027, Hamilton ON
Her Majesty's Royal Races 2027 takes place at HMCS Haida National Historic Site, Pier 9, 658 Catharine St N, Hamilton, ON. The event includes in-person and virtual options. In-person 5 km and 10 km races are chip timed and results are provided by the event timing service.
Distances offered include
- 1 km fun run, not chip timed, registration includes a finisher medal and a required donation
- 3 km in-person event
- 5 km in-person and virtual, chip timed in person
- 10 km in-person and virtual, chip timed in person
For 5 km and 10 km participants, event items include a choice of a fascinator, a top hat, or a corgi item, and finisher medals are available in multiple colours including burgundy. Trophies will be awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers in the 5 km and 10 km races.
The event raises funds for the Army Cadet League in support of the RHLI Cadets and collects non-perishable food for Hamilton Food Share. An optional 30-minute guided tour of HMCS Haida is available to participants with pre-registration; access to the ship's bridge is via ladders and may not be suitable for all guests.
