Her Majesty's Royal Races takes place on April 19, 2026, at HMCS Haida National Historic Site, Catharine Street North, Hamilton, Ontario. The event offers both in-person and virtual options and features the following distances:

The event raises funds for the Army Cadet League in support of the RHLI Cadets - 62 RHLI RCACC. It also supports Hamilton Food Share; the source describes Hamilton Food Share as serving 16 member agencies, operating 22 hunger-relief programs, supporting over 10,400 visits per month and supplying 29,000 hot meals each month. Non-perishable food items will be collected at the race.
Race details and logistics
Trophies will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each distance. All races are chip timed and results are available from the event timing provider after crossing the finish line. Virtual participants can complete their distance between April 1 and April 30, 2026, receive a finisher medal, and submit results via the Runkeeper app or by manual submission; virtual kit shipping is extra.
Registered participants receive a race kit that includes a choice of a fascinator and purse or a top hat, and a finisher medal available in two colour options. Race kit pickup takes place at designated locations in Burlington and Stoney Creek before the event, and on the race day at HMCS Star. A 30-minute guided tour of HMCS Haida is available to pre-registered participants for a separate fee; access to the ship bridge is via ladders and may not be accessible to all guests.
