Overview
This community event at Biddeford Middle School in Biddeford, Maine includes a 5k run, a one-mile walk and a kids fun run. The event raises funds for the New England Epilepsy Foundation and for a scholarship being established in honor of a friend.

The 5k course starts on Tiger Lane, continues onto Hill Street, then turns onto West Street and onto Granite Street Ext. Runners enter St. Joseph's Cemetery via the second entrance, follow marked signs through the cemetery and exit through a different entrance back onto Granite Street Ext., then return along West and Hill Street to finish on Tiger Lane. The route follows the same roads back to the school for the finish.
The one-mile walk begins on Tiger Lane, proceeds past Biddeford Intermediate School, follows the sidewalk down Hill Street, turns at the intersection with West Street, passes in front of JFK and enters a parking area that opens behind a baseball field, then returns to the starting sidewalk and the finish area.
The kids fun run covers a short distance between a quarter mile and half mile. Volunteers will be contacted by the organizer by email with available shifts and roles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
