Henley Half Marathon
The event features a road race route that passes through Henley town centre, crosses Henley Bridge and continues into the surrounding countryside. The course returns along the Thames towpath, goes back through the town centre and climbs a mile long section known as Heartbreak Hill before a descent and a flat run back to the Rugby Club.

Race management includes road closures at the start area and a course team with about 50 marshals and assistants. Roads on the route are protected by warning signs, coning and concentrated marshalling at pinch points and potential risk spots. Medical cover is provided.
Logistics and facilities include on-site bib collection only, a tear-off baggage strip for secure bag drop, toilets in the event village and changing rooms and showers at Henley RFC. Water is available on the Half Marathon (4 stations) and 10K (2 stations); the 5K has no water stations. A car park is provided at Fawley Meadows with restricted access times.
Results are uploaded live where internet access permits and preregistered participants receive results within 24 hours. All finishers receive a medal; prizes may be awarded for top places overall and for veteran categories V40, V50, V60 and V70 for both females and males. Event images are usually available within 24 hours. Late entries can be made on the day at the late entries tent. Spectators are permitted.
