Event overview
The Henley Half Marathon takes place on 18 October 2026 at Henley Rugby Club, Marlow Road, RG9 2JA, Henley, Great Britain. The event offers multiple distances:
- 13.1 Miles : Half Marathon, price £40.00
- 10 km : 10K, price £30.00
- 5 km : 5K, price £20.00
- 1 km : Family Fun Run, price £10.00
Bib numbers are available for collection at the event only. Registration closes 16 October 2026. Late entry is possible on the day at the late entries tent between 08:30 and 09:15.
Course, facilities and rules
The course runs through the town, over Henley Bridge, along the Thames towpath and into nearby countryside, including a circa one-mile climb known as "heartbreak hill" and a return to the Rugby Club. Roads near the start use closures for runner safety. A course management team of about 50 marshals provides coning, signage and concentrated marshalling at pinch points.
Facilities include medical cover, bag drop via the tear-off baggage strip on bibs, toilets in the event village and changing rooms/showers at Henley RFC. A car park is provided at Fawley Meadows, Henley-on-Thames. Water stations are present on the Half Marathon (4) and 10K (2); none on the 5K. Event photography and results are normally published within 24 hours. The event is not suited to wheelchair users; buggies and similar devices are permitted only in the Family Fun Run.
