Henderson Husky 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run
The Henderson Husky 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run takes place on May 31, 2026, at Henderson Elementary School, 3799 Waterway Drive, Dumfries, VA 22025, US. The event is family oriented and organized to promote physical fitness while raising funds to improve the school.

Both races will be chip timed and include awards for overall and age group top three finishers. The mile run will recognize the top three male and female finishers and age group awards for 4 & under, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-17. The 5K will recognize the top three male and female finishers, top masters, and age group awards for 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 & over.
Packet pick-up and last-minute registration are available at Henderson Elementary School and at Fleet Feet Woodbridge on the days before the event, with additional pickup on the morning of the race. Registration is offered online only. On race day there will be no parking in the school lot off Waterway Drive; nearby streets and bus lanes off Cardinal Drive and Dyers Road are suggested. Water, bananas, and granola bars will be available at the finish of both races, with one water stop on the 5K near mile two.
