Hellathon
Hellathon is a Backyard Ultra held on April 5, 2027 at Cloudland Canyon State Park in Rising Fawn, GA. The event uses repeated loops that start and finish inside the state park. Each loop measures 4.167 miles (one Yard) and competitors run one loop every hour under Backyard Ultra rules.
The format runs on an hourly interval: runners complete a 4.167 mile loop each hour until only one participant remains. Under the stated rules there is a single official finisher and all other participants are recorded as DNF. The race awards a cash purse totaling $15,000 with a breakdown of $10,000 for first place, $4,500 for the assist (second place), and $500 for the fastest lap.
The organizer provides course maps, aid station breakdowns, cutoff times for each distance, a runners handbook, and a race rules page. Information is also available for crew and pacer roles. Volunteer positions are listed and volunteers can earn a free race entry as part of the event program. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
