About the race
The Hell Hole Gator Run in Jamestown, South Carolina marks the 50th year of the Hell Hole Gator Trot and is affiliated with the Hell Hole Swamp Festival. The event includes both a 10K and a 5K, plus student divisions restricted to high school teams and staff.
Distances:
- 10K 6.2 miles via French Santee Rd, Simmons Rd, Tiger Corner Rd, Hwy 41
- 5K 3.1 miles starting at Simmons Rd and Tiger Corner Rd to Hwy 41
- Student 5K 3.1 miles for high school teams only
- Student 10K 6.2 miles for high school teams and staff only
The 10K course follows the original route: start on French Santee Road, then Simmons Road, Tiger Corner Road, and Hwy 41 to the finish in front of Town Hall. The 5K begins at the midway point of the 10K on Simmons Road, proceeds onto Tiger Corner Road, and then joins Hwy 41 to the Town Hall finish. The 5K has a new route compared with previous years.
Early packet pick-up is scheduled at Blue Sky Endurance in Mount Pleasant. Race day packet pick-up, parking, and event operations are based at Hell Hole Inc in Jamestown. Runners should bring ID for packet pick-up. Shuttle service is provided to the 5K start line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
