Trail Ultra in the Southern Kettle Moraine Forest
The HELIOS Ultra is an endurance event held in Eagle, Wisconsin, within the Southern Kettle Moraine Forest. This inaugural autumn run offers participants the opportunity to complete as many loops as possible within a chosen timeframe. The event takes place on the McMiller Trail system, where runners can choose from three different loop options measuring approximately 3 miles, 5 miles, or 6 miles.
The race features three primary time based categories:
- 6 Hour Solo or Team Relay
- 12 Hour Solo or Team Relay
- 20 Hour Solo or Team Relay
Participants can compete as solo ultra runners or as part of a relay team consisting of up to four people. The event is capped at a total of 150 runners to maintain the quality of the race experience.
